Lust is the abysmal desire to overwhelm the body of another and is never complimentary. It is the primal desire that draws on primitive emotions with indifference to anything but the sheer pleasure of the attacker to the detriment of the victim. Lust is a predator while love is a benefactor of blessings and never the twain shall meet. There is no honesty in lust beyond its rawness and if one desires truth in ones life, it cannot be attained through lustful application towards responding to ones base desires. Wallace B Wattles in his writings induces us to avoid responding to these urges because they drag us down with them. The New Testament is also paved with instructions on the relevance of aspiring to greater heights of harmony.
Love, on the other hand is one of compliment rather than adverse and reaps blessed rewards for both parties versus the abject opposite of lust. It is good to read the words of excellent writers like Wattles, Napoleon Hill and James Allen to name a few who urge us to desire the spiritual union not the base union invited by primitive desires.
The question to ask oneself is how important is it to have true unconditional love in ones life. How will true love compliment? Will it add a benefit beyond those attained through sexual lustful pleasure and is it worth taking the diligence to realise the truthful representation of its presence? The real question applies to the relationship lust represents because of one major component and that relates to spirituality and the purpose of our souls.
There is a difference between two heartfelt entwined lovers having wild rapturous desire and the focused even angry threat of a person with lustful intent. Prostitutes and victims of sexual crimes can testify to experiencing the ravages of a person under the influence of angry lust. Their stories are not nice and are indicative of someone who is closer to insanity than the very expressiveness of God's true unconditional love.
There are two kinds of spirit a) evil and b) blessed. Unfortunately, through the obscure but prevalent presence of pornography encouraging disrespectful adherence to an immature approach it is leaving our world devoid of faith in true love. Blessed love is attained through the enhanced approach of meditation aligning our souls in spiritual connection inviting immense sustainable pleasure not attained through lust.
In order to delve into the honest creative spirit it shall behoove one or even a couple in love to learn how to reach the others essence through out of body spiritual experiences. Love transcends boundaries, it overcomes tragedy and it bridges the gulf between obscurity and realization of the life we deserve to accomplish. Lust leaves one bare, exposed and hurt while at the same time leaving one dirty and abused.
In simple terms, lust robs us of the opportunity to discover our identity as an expression of our souls and while it may provide temporary delights, it cannot offer permanent treasures. Through pornography and illicit immoral irreverence we are relegating our world into deprivation which deprives us of our opportunity to scale the heights attained by the likes of Edison, Ford, Puccini, Bell, Einstein and the list goes on. Why are we allowing our society, let alone our relationships, to be robbed of our future growth and spiritual happiness?
True love on the other hand, offers us the opportunities to rise to all the possibilities hidden away in our universe by blessing us with the capabilities to communicate on a telepathic level. It is tragic that a small minority only avails of this course while in truth every loving couple may receive its bounty by taking the time to reach each other through the spirit not merely through the physical alone.
